Smart Surveyors for Land & Water Management

From 10 to 14 May 2020, the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) will organise the Working Week in RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.

Surveyors play an increasingly important role in land & water management. Especially since our countries need protection from the effects of climate change: sea-level rise, floods, droughts and other natural disasters.

Protection of nature and natural resources demands immediate attention and action. This requires smart surveyors and integrated sustainable land & water management.

The FIG Working Week will provide the exchange of knowledge and technical expertise in Integrated Land & Water Management.

You can expect an interesting mix of plenary and technical sessions, a trade exhibition and a variety of side events and social events. The technical programme will consist of over 500 presentations in the field of surveying, including best practices and new research on sensing technologies and spatial data processing.

You are invited to submit. The abstract submission deadline is 7 February 2020 (full paper).
