KOMPASS Announces Ambtious Growth Plans

KOMPASS, a provider of business management software for the geospatial sector, has announced it is offering its solution to the full UK and Irish market as part of its ambitious growth plans.

Kompass’s flagship software, Kompass BMS, digitizes processes for surveying and engineering companies through an intuitive dashboard, CRM, project mapping, crew scheduling, timesheets, invoicing, and expenses. It is already a favorite of surveyors and engineers in the US, Canada, and Europe with a select number of UK and Irish clients, including leading geospatial firm, Murphy Geospatial.

Kompass was formed in 2014, as part of Murphy Geospatial. It has been an independent organization since 2020 and is led by former Murphy Geospatial director, Kai Duebbert. The further expansion within the UK and Irish markets follows the tool’s proven success with its established customer base.

CEO and Founder Kai Duebbert said of the expansion: “We developed Kompass BMS because there wasn’t a comprehensive solution for business management that truly understood and addressed the nuanced needs of surveying and geospatial companies. Built by geospatial experts for geospatial experts, this platform allows the best project outcomes for clients by getting maximum efficiencies and return on investment, allowing surveyors and engineers to focus on what they do best. We first launched in the US and Europe, where we saw the most need, however, with the value of geospatial data growing exponentially, there is more demand on the sector. The challenges Kompass BMS solves are universal and we’re delighted to be expanding further within the UK and Ireland.”

Kai added: “We’re confident that our stellar track record speaks for itself. With a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction, we’re ready to embark on this exciting new chapter alongside our UK and Ireland clients.”

Alongside the expansion, Kompass said that it is in very active development and its next update will be focused on the financial features, which it says will offer more integrations with third-party accounting systems, such as Xero, and revenue and cashflow forecasting capabilities.
