Hexagon’s PPM division Benelux and Ditio have entered into a partnership to support the digitalization of asset information for owner operators in the process, power, marine and energy industries in the Benelux region. This collaboration is based on HxGN SDx™, Hexagon’s new modular, cloud-based asset lifecycle information management (ALIM) solution that optimizes efficiency and ensures safety throughout the asset life cycle.
Through this collaboration, Hexagon’s PPM division Benelux and Ditio are introducing a new digitalization initiative to the region, enabling customers to improve asset management and enhance operational excellence by enabling digitized, high quality and integrated information management.
In this partnership, Hexagon provides the information management and collaboration platform while Ditio delivers services to support the digital transformation initiatives in the region. HxGN SDx Operations module, a part of HxGN SDx, will operate as a platform to capture, organize, and manage any existing asset information to create a digital twin, a digital representation of any existing facility. This copy serves as a prerequisite on digital transformation, enabling users to embark on the facility-wide digitalization journey.
Jean-François Stephan, senior vice president Northwest and Southern Europe at Hexagon’s PPM division, said, “This partnership aims to support our clients with their digital transformation journey by enabling digitalization of asset information and creating access to a single source of truth for all facility information. We are proud to work together with Ditio to give our customers access to up-to-date and actionable asset information to improve both safety and productivity.”
Arjan Elderson, Ditio CEO, said, “Ditio and Hexagon can provide both the technology and the services needed to link the real world with the digital world. We hope to serve as change agents for digital transformation for the Benelux region, combining our strengths to help our clients improve efficiency.”
SDx Operations, a part of HxGN SDx, allows users to capture, organize, and link large volumes of facility information and provide web-based access to everyone who needs it. As a cloud service, SDx Operations can be adopted by any facility without introducing new software or investments in IT infrastructure.
