GWF 2020 to highlight geospatial technology in the 5G Era

The Twelfth edition of the Geospatial World Forum will bring together geospatial professionals and leaders representing the entire eco-system of public policies, national mapping agencies, private sector enterprises, multilateral and development organizations, scientific and academic institutions, and above all, large end users from government, businesses and citizen services from April 7-9, 2020 at the Taets Art and Event Park, Amsterdam.

In the quest to strengthen Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure in transforming economy of digital age, Geospatial Media and Communications in collaboration with United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), is organizing a campaign on “Advancing Role of Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure in World Society, Environment and Economy” to discuss the geospatial readiness of various countries, their eventual transformation model including existing and required integrated policy framework and most importantly enriching the knowledge platform adopting collaboration and partnership models. Large participation from national mapping agencies, spatial data infrastructure agencies, space agencies, lands and cadastral agencies, geological agencies, and other thematic mapping agencies are to be expected.
