On Thursday, September 21, 2023, GeoBuiz Europe Summit 2023 took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Brussels, bringing leaders and decision makers from across the European geospatial industry to engage in thought-provoking panel discussions.
RIEGL had been invited to share views and plans for business directions in the panel “Geospatial Infrastructure & National Digital Twin”. Dr. Harald Teufelsbauer, Business Division Manager Mobile Laser Scanning, gave an insight into RIEGL’s considerations and decisions regarding the use of LiDAR technology to solve a wide range of challenging digitization tasks.
In the course of the gala dinner, several companies and organizations were awarded. RIEGL had been selected by the panel of juries to be conferred with the GeoBuiz Innovation Award, under the category of Innovation in Mapping Technology. Dr. Teufelsbauer proudly accepted the trophy and the certificate.
RIEGL is very pleased about this award and feels encouraged to continue the ever-evolving forces of innovation in order to make an important contribution to the development of LiDAR technology in the future.
