Esri Partners Honored at Esri FedGIS Conference

Esri honored three of its partners with its inaugural Federal Small Business Specialty (FSBS) Awards during the Esri Federal GIS (Esri FedGIS) Conference.

The awards recognize companies that use Esri technology to help the nation run more efficiently and transparently by innovating in areas such as indoor mapping and open data initiatives. The Esri Partner Network, which helps members expand their technology offerings and increase sales, offers exclusive access to an array of spatial analysis resources.

“We are excited about the amazing next generation solutions our small business partners deliver to federal government agencies,” said Jeff Peters, head of national government at Esri. “Winners of the FSBS Awards have made great contributions to Esri’s small business program by changing the way agencies think about solving their problems and making smarter decisions with geographic information systems.”

Esri president and founder Jack Dangermond presented the awards to three companies in different categories:

  • Blue Raster—Partner of the Year—Partnered with Esri to perform deforestation analyses and create the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) public online application, which assesses nitrogen and sulfur pollution’s impact on ecosystems
  • GISinc—Innovation Partner—Created an Internet of Things (IoT) solution that uses indoor sensor data to perform analytics using Esri technology
  • INCATech LLC—New Partner—Deployed an update to the Department of State’s (DOS) Travel.State.Gov website with dynamic maps for travel alerts and warnings, by country, including contact information for US embassies, consulates, and interests, fusing DOS and Esri online data
