The FIG Working Week in Hanoi is an opportunity for the entire surveying and geospatial community to meet, discuss, learn and get inspired on overall emerging challenges currently faced by our world. The FIG Working Week will be the start of a new 4-year term for the new FIG President, Rudolf Staiger and his team.
The conference will be a mix of interesting plenary and technical sessions and workshops; a trade exhibition and a variety of side events and social functions, giving you a unique opportunity to discuss best practices within the surveying profession with fellow peers.

The Hanoi 2019 FIG Working Week should be of interest to participants from all over the world and will be a memorable experience not to be missed.
A fully packed programme will be offered. The FIG Working Week will showcase the work of FIG. The programme will be underpinned by invited high level key note speakers in three plenary sessions. The three consecutive conference days will offer up to 10 parallel sessions and workshops. In addition a range of technical tours will be offered aimed at highlighting the role of the profession in Vietnam and set across the broad context of FIG’s Commissions.
As a special treat this year, included in your registration is the Vietnamese Cultural Evening – which is a special Vietnamese performance at the Hanoi Opera House. Please indicate in the registration form whether you prefer the early performance e or the late performance.
