SuperPad selected by Japan Shinshu University for teaching and research 

SuperGeo announces that SuperPad has been selected by Shinshu University, Japan, to be as a complete mobile GIS solution for teaching and research in the field. SuperGeo's reseller in Japan, Bizworks Corp., introduces SuperPad to meet the University's specific needs.

SuperPad is designed for field-workers who require GIS capabilities in the field. It provides users with the ability to capture, survey, measure, and modify geographic information with a hand-held device, such as PDA and rangefinders, in the field. Flexibly collaborating with GPS receiver and a digital camera, SuperPad allows surveyors to collect field data promptly and effectively.

Located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, Shinshu University has 8 various faculties and 5 campuses. The international courses are well-designed and thus Shinshu University is famous not only in Japan but also in the academia globally. The procurement of SuperPad, SuperGeo's Mobile GIS software, will be utilized to assist field-survey work by the Faculty of Agriculture, especially for the Departments of Forest Science, Bioscience and Biotechnology.
