SPECIM announces the Official Launch of AisaEAGLET

SPECIM, Spectral Imaging, a provider of Hyperspectral Imaging technology and solutions, announces the release of AisaEAGLET, a Hyperspectral Imaging airborne sensor specifically designed for small aircrafts and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). AisaEAGLET will be officially presented at the EARSEL Imaging Spectroscopy workshop in Tel-Aviv, Israel, 16-19 March 2009.

AisaEAGLET is an exceptionally compact and lightweight hyperspectral airborne sensor that acquires full, contiguous hyperspectral data in the VNIR region (400-1000 nm) with high spectral resolution and up to 100 push-broom images per second. AisaEAGLET also provides high spatial resolution with 1600 pixels across the swath and excellent sensitivity even in low light conditions. Its flexibility makes it a powerful remote sensing tool for a wide range of applications, from environmental monitoring and forestry to security and defense. AisaEAGLET is a full-featured airborne system, which consists of the hyperspectral sensor, GPS/INS sensor, data acquisition computer and flight operation software. Its modular design and low total mass of 10 kg of the complete system allow quick installation in various payload compartments.
