Several national geospatial organizations have recently come together to create the Coalition of Geospatial Organizations (COGO). The Coalition evolved after several “Stakeholder” meetings that took place on an irregular basis since 2003. In August 2007, several of these organizations met to discuss areas of mutual concern and interest. In order to promote openness and effective collaboration, it was decided that the group should become a more formal organization.

On 14 May 2008 the cash dividend of Fugro N.V. for 2007 was set at EUR 1.25 per (certificate of) ordinary share. The dividend will either be paid fully in cash or fully in (certificates of) ordinary shares, such at the choice of the shareholder. The number of dividend rights that entitles to one new (certificate of) ordinary share is determined at 44.
