Magellan Professional and Carlson Software announced that they have teamed to pursue Machine Guidance and Control opportunities using Magellan GNSS receivers and Carlson software. Carlson Grade Supervisor software will be integrated with the Magellan ProMarkTM 500 dual-frequency GNSS receiver; and Carlson Grade software will be integrated with Magellan's ProFlexTM 500 dual-frequency GNSS receiver, MBTM 500 dual-frequency GPS+GLONASSTM board, and DG14TM RTK single-frequency board. Other combinations with future products are also under consideration. Installation of Magellan/Carlson machine control solutions will be done by independent Business Partners working with the Magellan/Carlson Machine Control Team.

ERDAS opens Full Training Center in Belgium

The results of the 2009 election have been tallied by the Tellers Committee and they reported that Gary Florence, who is with Photo Science in St. Petersburg, Florida, won the election to become ASPRS Vice President for 2009. With the installation of officers at the ASPRS Annual Conference in March, Bradley Doorn moves into the position of President; Carolyn Merry becomes President-Elect, and Kass Green becomes Past President.
Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL), a global technology solutions provider with headquarters in Hyderabad, India, announced that it has signed a three year agreement, through Infotech Enterprises Benelux BV (a step down subsidiary of IEL), with the Dutch telecommunications engineering and technology company Volker Wessels Telecom.
