SPECIM, Spectral Imaging, a provider of Hyperspectral Imaging technology and solutions, announces the release of AisaEAGLET, a Hyperspectral Imaging airborne sensor specifically designed for small aircrafts and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). AisaEAGLET will be officially presented at the EARSEL Imaging Spectroscopy workshop in Tel-Aviv, Israel, 16-19 March 2009.

With the AarLogic GPS 3T, the electronics manufacturer Round Solutions presents a micro GPS receiver that can be combined with further components in the briefest time to create a full-fledged navigation system. The antenna is already soldered onto the small circuit board, which is only 12 x 2 mm, making wiring unnecessary. The square,10-mm wide and approximately 4-mm high antenna is positioned at a 90-degree angle from the circuit board. This array lets the user watch the display as usual, for example when using a GPS Smartphone, while the antenna points to the sky.

Optech Incorporated announced a new addition to its Airborne Survey Products portfolio, the ALTM Orion C200. Based on the highly successful, ultra-compact Orion platform, the C200 is the first in a series of ALTMs designed specifically for the corridor market. This low-altitude mapping solution addresses the needs of a burgeoning industry demanding a turn-key solution which is fully supported, upgradeable and cost-effective.

PCI Geomatics, a developer of products and solutions for the geo-imaging market, announced the release of a new cost effective system for automated satellite image processing and job scheduling. The ProLines GeoImaging Server, is an off the shelf, hardware based, high performance image processing system. Today's announcement was made at the ASPRS 2009 Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.

OGCwill launch the second phase of an Interoperability Experiment on ocean science interoperability at a meeting (http://www.oostethys.org/oceansie2 ) on March 20, 2009. The initiators of the experiment seek participation by other organizations interested in interoperability among information systems used in ocean research.
