The Esri Aeronautical Solution—Airports GIS Package version 2 is now available for download from Esri. This updated offering expands the number and types of preconfigured automated validation checks to include those used by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) during data submission as well as critical and noncritical attributes.

Open Spatial announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Munsys product and all associated trademarks and patents. Importantly Open Spatial now controls the sales and support businesses of Munsys in North America, Africa and Australia. Munsys in North America and Africa will commence trading under the Open Spatial brand.
