Leica Geosystems extends its GNSS Network RTK in Ireland
Leica Geosystems announces that it has extended its GNSS network RTK solution Leica SmartNet in Ireland, with the addition of 4 new GRX1200 GG Pro and AT504 GG sites (GPS and GLONASS) and the relocation of one further station.
The new stations will improve the coverage and redundancy to the network and are situated in Bantry, Carrick on Shannon, Donegal, Arklow and Clonmel. Launched in 2007 SmartNet Ireland currently totals 23 GPS and GLONASS sites and is now the only commercial network solution in Ireland to provide full traceability with real time data stream links to the national mapping system, provided by Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSi) and Land and Property Services (LPS, formerly Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland).

Leica SmartNet is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and now offers a comprehensive basket of GNSS Network correction products for any make of GNSS Network RTK rover, including Leica MAX with the renowned and only industry Network RTK RTCM 3.1 standard, along with i-MAX and Virtual-RS correction data.
Powered exclusively by Leica GNSS Spider software, SmartNet Ireland is able to deliver corrections at centimeter level in RTK mode and provides a full web site for RINEX data post processing and a free computation service, based on Leica Geo Office software.
