Leica Geosystems announces Update of ATHENA Program for Academic and Research Organizations

Leica Geosystems announces the update of its ATHENA Program, the Leica Geosystems program involving GNSS and Structural Monitoring for non-profit organizations, with the latest future proof Leica GRX1200+ receivers and the Leica AR25 choke ring antenna.

the latest future proof GRX1200+ receivers

ATHENA stands for ‘Advanced Technology for Higher-Education and Non-profit Associations' and has the clear objective of introducing the latest GNSS Reference Station and Monitoring technology to the academic and research communities. Any non-profit organization providing education and scientific research involving GNSS and Structural Monitoring can benefit thanks to the Leica Geosystems' ATHENA Program. The ATHENA Program 2009 updates consists of a new set of Leica Geosystems GNSS Reference Station product bundles including the new generation of receivers and antennas with special discounts for qualified institutions.

Up-to-date with Latest Technology

The GNSS reference station bundles now include the fully Internet-enabled Leica GRX1200+ GNSS receiver supporting GPS (including L2C and L5), GLONASS, Galileo and Compass reference station receiver, as well as the revolutionary new AR25 3D choke ring antenna and the Leica AX1203+ GNSS geodetic compact antenna. In addition the traditional Leica AT504 GG choke ring continues to be available through the ATHENA program.

The Leica AR25 4 GNSS choke ring antenna is widely used
in infrastructure networks and reference stations.
