Infotech Enterprises signs Three Year Agreement with VolkerWessels Telecom 

Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL), a global technology solutions provider with headquarters in Hyderabad, India, announced that it has signed a three year agreement, through Infotech Enterprises Benelux BV (a step down subsidiary of IEL), with the Dutch telecommunications engineering and technology company Volker Wessels Telecom. The agreement, which is for an initial period of three years, enables Infotech to provide a new service offering in Telecommunications Engineering to telecommunications industry worldwide. This cooperation agreement further demonstrates Infotech's prominent position as a leading supplier of specialist solutions including geospatial services. 

Infotech and VolkerWessels Telecom have a long standing relationship which started during the KPN total conversion project in which Infotech converted 130,000 kilometres of telecom network data and VolkerWessels Telecom provided Infotech with a Quality Team and was also responsible for the onshore back office. 

VolkerWessels Telecom is a supplier of infrastructure services to European telecommunications providers. The three year agreement will enable VolkerWessels Telecom to extend its capacity to carry out drawing registration and engineering work for copper and fibre telecommunications networks, using Infotech's extensive resources and expertise. The agreement follows the completion of a highly successful pilot project through a hybrid delivery model combining both onshore and offshore. Engineering and registration tasks will be executed on Cramer OSS platform, GE Smallworld and Intergraph GIS technology.
