Import ESRI Geodatabase Feature Classes into Adobe Illustrator
MAPublisher 8.2 now supports the import of spatial databases directly into Adobe Illustrator. The latest version of MAPublisher features the new Spatial Database add-on to import ESRI Personal, File and ArcSDE geodatabase feature classes directly into Adobe Illustrator CS3 and CS4.
Users can now import feature classes from ESRI Personal, File and ArcSDE geodatabases using MAPublisher Simple or Advanced Import. Supported geometry types include: point, polyline, polygon, bezier curve, and annotations. Users can create new connections to one or many ArcSDE geodatabases and save, edit and remove connections for easy management of multiple data sets.
Users can enjoy great flexibility in building SQL statements to limit the number of objects and attributes imported from a single feature class, search for feature classes and attributes, use the interface to build a query, and validate query statements to limit import errors. Also, they can perform multiple queries across multiple feature classes within the same geodatabase.
Use a spatial filter to limit the geographic area for the data being imported. Enter new coordinates values using the selected file source coordinate system or using an alternate coordinate system.
