GISPRO purchases UltraCamXp in Poland

GISPRO LLC has contracted with Vexcel Imaging GmbH, a Microsoft company, to purchase an UltraCamXp large-format digital aerial camera system.

The UltraCamXp, GISPRO’s first large-format digital aerial camera, is an integral part of its Airborne Photogrammetric Platform project. The Vexcel Imaging camera will be mounted on a Partenavia P-68 TC Observer aircraft, in addition to an airborne laser scanner, a medium-format digital camera, a thermal imaging camera, and GPS/IMU. The Airborne Photogrammetric Platform will be used to serve GISPRO’s primary customers – local and international engineering and design offices, the Polish Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography, the Polish Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, construction companies, local government agencies, and state forests. GISPRO plans to expand into the central and western European markets and provide a full range of terrestrial and airborne remote sensing services.
