Co-operation CLGE and GeoInformatics

The ‘European Council of Geodetic Surveyors’ and ‘GeoInformatics’ are very happy and proud to announce their cooperation for the coming two years.

In a first series of 16 issues, planned in 2012 and 2013, CLGE (after the French acronym for Comité de Liaison des Géomètres Européens) will get the headlines with recurrent three pages reports, presenting the organization and bringing news about interesting activities or best practices of its members.

CLGE unites associations from 35 countries, including the 27 EU members states, and represents far more than 50.000 individual Surveyors. In this environment it is essential to dispose of good communication lines with the base.

Our new editorial approach will enable us to reach all the European Surveyors and is of course a tremendous improvement of the proximity between the organization and its members.

Moreover, GeoInformatics will definitely allow CLGE to raise profile and to get the profession on the radar of the broader Geo-community as well as of other interested readers.

Furthermore, GeoInformatics will be able to consolidate its leadership in Europe and is of course happy with the considerable increase of its audience.

Together, the professional association and the publisher are committed to a flawless promotion of the Surveying Profession and the use of GeoInformation in Europe and beyond.
