1Spatial Appoints Guy Perkins as Managing Director for Asia-Pacific
 
1Spatial, provider of intelligent data quality and integration solutions, announces the appointment of Guy Perkins as Managing Director for Asia Pacific, effective immediately.

Perkins has over 25 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the geospatial industry. Prior to his current appointment Perkins held various executive management positions with leading organisations in the geospatial industry including ESRI and PitneyBowes MapInfo. Previously, he was also CEO of ER Mapper's global operations.
 
His initial focus will be to further strengthen relations with 1Spatial's existing customer base and partner community and to identify new market opportunities in the Australian and New Zealand region.
 
The appointment comes at a time when 1Spatial is experiencing significant growth in the Asia-Pacific market place. This market is expanding rapidly with the increase of e-trading initiatives resulting in the need for trusted location-based information. Solutions and services from 1Spatial not only meet this need but also provide significant efficiency gains. PSMA Australia, Queensland Transport and Main Roads and MidCoast Water have already adopted the 1Spatial data centric approach.
