Be Inspired Award winner: The Art Of Scanning

It's probably no coincidence that the winner in the category Multimedia during Bentley's BE Inspired Award is an early user of Pointools and MicroStation. Just one day before i-Ten was given the award, it was announced that Bentley Systems acquired the producer of Pointools.

By doing so, Bentley integrates the use of 3D scanned point clouds from laser scanners in their MicroStation CAD software. The user consists with Pointools of vendor-independent functionalities with regard to 3D point clouds of all types laser scanners.
